Andy Green, Founder, CEO and President, founded PenData Solutions in October 2005, building on thirty years of successful worldwide sales and executive management experience with industry segment leaders such as Wyse, The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc., Sun Microsystems, Chordiant and CIC. He created the first value added channel sales organizations in the industry and has been highly successful in establishing markets for new products, from the WYSE 50, through to SCO UNIX, to Java.
At The Santa Cruz Operation, Andy was Vice President of Worldwide Strategic Alliances, Worldwide OEMs, and Worldwide Distribution Sales. He delivered 30% of the corporate revenue by building the first UNIX distribution channels with 3,000 integrators. Through his strategic vision, Andy implemented the collaborative project between SCO, Intel, HP, and IBM that resulted in the first 64-bit operating system to run on Intel-based computers. His leadership as Javasoft’s Senior Director of Business Development at Sun Microsystems created strategic alliances with companies such as IBM, Nortel, Oracle, and Motorola. In his role as the Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Chordiant Software, Andy created a global alliance that involved three IBM product divisions, two IBM services groups, and drove 50% of Chordiant’s revenue.
Stewart Alpert, CTO, brings a strong technical background to PenData Solutions from large product companies such as Santa Cruz Operations to professional service firms focused on deploying custom solutions for Fortune 500/Global 1000 companies. Most recently Stewart founded and led a professional services company that specialized in security assessment, forensics, incident handling, high-end network & systems design, and analysis. His role included: definition and management of the practice, selection of technology, technical sales, and serving as principal consultant.
Previously in his career, Stewart served as a Director of Systems Engineering and Product Manager for Networking Products at The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc. His strengths included deep understanding of technology, communications, presentations and translation of customer business requirements into sound technical solutions.
Stewart holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and is a CISSP.
Jeff Williams, Interim CFO/COO, founder of The Alchemy Team, LLC, is an executive business consultant with more than two decades of solving complex business problems and delivering simple solutions. During this time he has successfully guided cross-functional projects at multiple publicly and privately held companies ranging from early stage start-up to large multi-nationals.
Prior to starting The Alchemy Team, LLC in 2003, Jeff was Vice President of Finance Operations and Corporate Controller at Intuit Inc. Previous to Intuit, Jeff held the positions of Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer at Edgewood Creek, Incorporated, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Reasoning, Incorporated, Director of Finance at Remedy Corporation, Corporate Controller at The Failure group, Inc., various executive level finance and operations positions with Apple Computer, Inc. and was a Senior Manager with KPMG.
Jeff holds a B.S. degree in industrial design from San Jose State University and an M.B.A. degree from Santa Clara University. He is a licensed CPA in California and a member of Financial Executives International. Jeff also serves on the Board of Directors of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross.
